Solar Farm Utility Scale Battery Renewable Energy
Development and integration of large-scale renewable energy and storage infrastructure to support a sustainable and resilient energy future.
Project 01

Wollar Solar Farm
Wollar Solar Farm is located on the western side of Barigan Road approximately 7km south of Wollar, around 50km from Mudgee. It has a capacity of up to 280MWac and comprise approximately 660,000 solar panels and 5,400 tracker systems installed across almost 500 hectares. Project construction began in early 2023 and is expected to be completed in mid 2025. Wollar solar farm will have an estimated working life of 30 years, after which all above ground infrastructure can be decommissioned and removed.

Project 02
Wagerup BESS
Alinta Energy has received approval to construct a 100 MW / 200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) at Wagerup in Western Australia, which site is about 120km from Perth. This project is part of Alinta’s efforts to support the integration of renewable energy sources into the state’s electricity network. The Wagerup BESS project align with broader governmental efforts to increase renewable energy capacity and storage in Western Australia, contributing to a more sustainable and resilient energy infrastructure. The project is currently under construction, expected to be commissioned in the second half of 2025 (TBD).
