Growatt’s new C&I inverter is now available on global markets
Growatt, a top five global supplier of commercial inverters, announced that the MAX 100-125KTL3-X low-voltage inverter is now available in the global market. Since its debut last year, the inverter has garnered a lot of attention in the industry for its outstanding features.
“Designed specifically for C&I solar applications, the new MAX model has a maximum output of 125kW, the highest power available for string inverters with multiple MPPTs at the 400Vac level,” said Lisa Zhang, Growatt’s Director of Marketing.
With a maximum DC input current of 32A per MPPT and 16A per string, this new MAX inverter is well matched to high power and dual panel modules. Its 10 MPP trackers support up to 20 string connections, which greatly reduces energy losses caused by shadowing effects and module mismatches.
In addition, MAX supports DC/AC ratios of up to 150% for a lower LCOE of the PV plant. thanks to its wide MPPT operating range from 180V to 1000V, the inverter can start operating earlier in the morning and shut down later in the afternoon, achieving longer run times and harvesting more solar energy.
Growatt also provides a full range of protection for the inverter and the entire PV system through DC and AC side Type II lightning protectors, a fuse-free design, integrated DC switches, IP66 protection, and optional active arc protection (AFCI) and built-in PID recovery to provide all-around protection for the inverter and the entire PV system, thereby increasing operational safety.
“Managing a large number of inverters can be a bit cumbersome, so to make system management smarter and simpler, we supplemented our C&I solar projects with various solutions for monitoring and smart energy management,” added Lisa Zhang.
Growatt simplified the management of multiple inverters with Smart Energy Manager, which also allows for system outlet limits and PF control. In addition, the company has developed ShinePhone and ShineServer for end users to monitor system operation at any time, and an OSS (Online Smart Service) system for installers and distributors to easily access online services such as online smart IV scanning and diagnostics, remote configuration and firmware upgrades, enabling 60% of problems to be resolved without site visits, reducing O&M costs.
